Zum Eichkatzerl in Frankfurt

We were absolutely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back. Decorations in the squares and throughout the restaurant are decent and stylish. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a charming impression. I think my friend and I have long since ordered the entire menu up and down. The food was delivered very promptly. Really quick and nice service. I think all the staff did a good job there.

The best Ebbelwoi economy in all of Frankfurt. Delicious pint !! And there are ingenious vegan dishes, incredibly tasty! Our favorite meeting point in Frankfurt ❤????

As far as I know, the only cider bar with decent vegan alternatives (not just fries and salad ...)! Absolutely great and delicious! The service was very nice and relaxed on all of my visits. I could give 100 stars for the vegan food, thank you very much!

The Eichkatzerl: My first choice when I want to eat something delicious and have a nice drink! I cannot understand some of the reviews, the waiters always greet you warmly and are always ready for a joke even when stressed. I always enjoy coming back here, in the beautiful garden in summer, in the rustic dining room in winter. Stay as you are!

Price / performance ratio simply brilliant. We were hardly there and had ordered our drink. It felt like it came after 5 minutes, but it could have been less. Then the food selected and the service was always there if you had a question. Portions are above average for the price. Food was delicious. Ambience was also very nicely designed. The next time I'm in Frankfurt am Main, I'll be happy to come back.

After more than 25 years where I now live in Frankfurt, I finally managed to visit the Zum Eichkatzerl restaurant. This happened as part of a Yelp regulars' table, 7 yelpers came. The weather was good at the beginning and we could sit outside. Reserved a table for outside via email, but reservations are only ever for the tables in the restaurant. We were lucky, when we came there was still a table for us outside. It's really cozy and even though you are facing the street, you hardly notice it. There was a lot going on and the staff had to run a lot, but they are all on their toes. All orders went well and yet everything was friendly and professional. We had to be patient until our food arrived, but everything came to the table at the same time. Everyone was very satisfied, including me. I had the loin with spaetzle, very tasty. The loin was a little dry, but good in taste. But everything was fine with sauce. After dinner it started to rain, so get in quickly. The decor is nice and familiar, as one would expect from a corresponding restaurant. I liked it very much and look forward to my next visit.

Great to sit outside. Thanks to the large tree, it is very pleasant even at 30 degrees. Portions nice and big and delicious apple. What more do you want ?:)

Very nice little cider pub food with delicious and drinks. Prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly and fast. On Friday reserved for Sunday, this was by telephone. We will come back.

Great, for me the best schnitzel in town. Service super friendly in the usual Sachsenhausen ambience. The price level is very good, actually the dishes should cost more. The hygiene regulations are meticulously observed. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained for an apple wine industry. A great evening, thank you!

Outstanding! Friendly team, refreshing cider and delicious food. We always like to go to the Eichkatzerl, quality and quantity are constant and we are always completely satisfied.

There were four of us in the garden yesterday. Very cozy! The service was friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were really delicious. However, the schnitzel was no longer really hot. It was a nice evening! We would come back.

It seemed to me like a very genuine German pub with great native cuisine and apple wine. Unfortunately no draft beer.

Authentic German pub serving typical Frankfurt and German cusine and Apfelwein. Food was mediocre, drinks too. Looked authentic though ??‍♂️

As with the other restaurants, the terrace seats were full but few people were indoors. Schnitzel had a taste like that found in other stores, and at the same time, he ate all at once. It might be the onion that was on the top that felt like the soup. The price is also conscientious.

Nice restaurant for authentic Frankfurt food

Just open the door for an hour or so. The yard is full of people. The open air environment is generally served. The trotters and apple juice are accompanied by the sauce. I personally think that there is no sauerkraut. I have eaten several times. The German trotters don’t feel like China. Grilled pig's trotters and delicious salad make me feel a bit salty but still fresh. Compared with other homes, I see the people next to it. The sausages and salads and pork chops look very good. I have the chance to try other things.

RUDEST place in Frankfurt. The waiters were shouting at people that they don't serve the last table in the garden so they shouldn't sit there. Why didn't they remove the table then...? Waiters were super pushy about our orders and unorganised, we got an apfelwine we didn't ask for and we had two waiters at the same time. Yet they left us 2 seconds to order and before the table finished the order they rushed away. We left the place very quickly and we'll never come back...

Super rude service, waiters actually yelling at people. Is it supposed to be a part of authentic atmosphere? Also very noisy, you can hardly talk to a person next to you. The only upside is that the meat was actually quite good.

The customers were only local people, probably because they were away from the center. However, the English menu is also available, and the staff's English is easy to understand. I ordered a schnitzel, a roast pork and a salad. Each around € 12-15. Great amount! The beer was 0.5 l at 0.5 l. There are about 6 types of draft beer. This slightly turbid beer was delicious! Also, I do not drink today, but I can order apple wine with a glass at a reasonable price. Two bottles of beer for two, full of stomach, € 60. It was a satisfying dinner!

Authentic German restaurant. Fast service. Good food. Large portions. Serveral options, including vegetarian. Schnitzel Farm Style is a excellent option. Staff speaks English. Accept foreign credit cards (Visa/MasterCard).

Traditional German pub restaurant. Food is okay, big pub portions. We had to wait an hour for our food, don't know if this is always like that here, also our waiter wasn't exactly the friendly kind.

Typical German place. 3 types of beers and apfelwein basically. Really good schnitzels and ribs. Other items on the menu are of lower quality. Recommended

I always come here when in Frankfurt.. the only place that has seriously good Grüne Sosse (a green souse made from herbs... you shoud try). Also the Applewaoi (a kind of cider) is pretty spot on. Personelle is extremely friendly and very Frankfurt like... so expect some talking back.. and thats appreciated... at least by me and anyone I took there.
